The RENATECH network has commissioned an overhaul of its historic project management application. Development began in April 2020, following the recruitment of a web developer on fixed-term contract, to reinforce a team already mobilized on other projects.
2021
Monthly videoconferences were set up, bringing together a working group dedicated to software design. These meetings enabled us to adopt an Agile approach, in order to develop a tool that meets the network's needs as closely as possible, while harmonizing working methods. The aim was also to avoid developing functionalities specific to a single platform.
January 1, 2022
Production launch of the first version of REPOTECH. It introduces the possibility for users to submit feasibility requests, with more detailed and complete project management. Migration work enabled the transfer of data from the previous database (2013-2021).
2023
Improvements and recognition of the Repotech project The development of numerous functionalities, including the generation of statistics, has enabled the RENATECH network to better promote its activities. The success of the project, carried out over a long period of time with players from all over France, was recognized by the CNRS, which awarded the REPOTECH team a collective Cristal.
2024
Feasibility module evolves and opens up to other networks. The feasibility system has been redesigned as a collaborative tool, enabling all the plants in the network to comment on and evaluate a project, in addition to the simple “Accepted / Rejected” status. The application has also been simplified and optimized with a view to offering REPOTECH to other platform networks beyond RENATECH.
